Psychoeducation (also referred to as “psychological education”) comes in many shapes, sizes and guises.

It can delivered through therapy, coaching, meditations, written materials, recorded services or trainings. Usually psychoeducation teaches practical, positive life skills and develops awareness and understanding of psychological issues.

Examples of the psychoeducation I provide include:

  • handouts and information about treatments, symptoms, resources and services
  • trainings for individuals and groups, including professionals, on my areas of specialization (anxiety, stress, depression, adjustment, trauma)
  • written materials such as the Be Real Blog ( and the monthly column I write for the Bucks County Herald ( http:// )
  • recorded guided meditations ( /meditations) and guided meditation trainings
